We use state-of-the-art design programs for design work. Many manufacturing issues are revealed by computer-aided designing before the production of the expensive specimen. This is especially important for build-to-order items produced in small series, where only one or two pieces of components are manufactured. In case of complicated items, the amount of time spent on designing also bears a high importance since unforeseeable problems turn out before the manufacturing and it could be corrected rapidly on a low cost, accordingly the time and money intended for designing will be paid-off later.
